What we offer is not only a cozy environment of relaxation and comfort, with a wide range beverages and foods, as well as small bites (Sweets and Snacks), but, as an ALL INCLUSIVE place, in addition, you will find the exceptional Japanese “和” sensitivity created by the selected works displayed from the famous painter Kaneko KUNIYOSHI collection.
Bar 山水 (SAN-SUI) and Cafe& Bar 紅蝙蝠(BENIKOHMORI) are woman-run restaurant and entertainment businesses in Kyoto.
They offer to local and international clients the ultimate service in Japanese hospitality. SAN-SUI is written with the Chinese characters for Mountain (山) and Water (水) related to Asian style of painting illustrating ideal landscape made of Mountain and Water.
BENIKOHMORI, the Red Bat, is written with the Chinese characters for Red (紅) and Bat (蝙蝠) related to the kimono design by Kaneko KUNIYOSHI inspired by the novel by Shin HASEGAWA of the same title.
